How many meals can be photographed in an hour?

The speed of photo shooting is affected by the complexity of the dish design and composition.

  • from 1 to 3 dishes per hour, depends on the complexity of the composition, if you need to put up for each dish.

  • up to 20 dishes per hour if we shoot without composition and on a solid colored background.

This price includes 1 technical hour to prepare the site and set up the equipment, 5 hours to shoot the food, and a closing technical hour to pack up the equipment. In total we will spend 7 hours at the site.

Live View shooting is possible - when the camera is connected to a laptop and the manager sees and agrees on the frames right on the site. Or the manager could be located remotely, and the laptop screen is broadcasted via Skype, Zoom, Google Hangouts, etc. In this case, the speed of work will still be affected by the time it takes the manager to coordinate.

What to expect?

The cost of the project is calculated based on the terms of reference. If you are preparing for your first ever photo shoot, references (examples of photos from the Internet, magazines, books, food packaging from the store) will help me achieve the desired result.

The cost of food photography includes photography itself with professional photographic equipment (camera, flashes, racks, soft boxes, synchronizers), retouching and color correction, as well as storage of a ready-made material in a cloud storage with an active link for at least 6 months.

How does a food photo shoot take place?

food photography is conventionally divided into three stages
